A well-established law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Immigration Attorney to join their team, specializing in consular processing and waiver cases. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney looking to further their career in immigration law with a growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of immigration cases, including consular processing, I-130 petitions, and waivers while collaborating closely with a team of legal professionals. Duties: Handle and manage a caseload focused on consular processing and waiver cases, including I-130, I-601A, I-212, I-601, and K-Visa applications. Guide clients through the consulate interview process and prepare them accordingly. Represent clients before USCIS, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of petitions and other documents. Review and assess immigration applications and legal documents prepared by the team. Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to meet productivity and client satisfaction goals. Provide legal advice and case strategy recommendations to clients, analyzing potential benefits and risks. Draft and submit legal briefs, motions, and other documents for a variety of immigration matters. Requirements: Minimum 1-4 years of experience in immigration law, particularly with consular processing and waiver applications. Strong ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining high attention to detail. Experience in client-facing roles, with excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships. Proven ability to move cases forward efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required. Familiarity with case management software and immigration-related legal tools is a plus. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admitted to practice law in the state of California. Skills: Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, specifically consular processing and waivers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
