A well-established law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney with a focus on EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review) matters. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing a diverse caseload, representing clients in various immigration proceedings, and collaborating with a talented legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for career development within a dynamic legal environment, offering room for growth and professional advancement.Duties:Represent detained and non-detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, USCIS, and Board of Immigration Appeals.Prepare defensive immigration applications, including but not limited to I-589, 42A, 42B, I-485, SIJS, and prosecutorial discretion requests.Review and file immigration applications with USCIS, such as I-130, I-601A, and U-Visa petitions.Meet with clients to analyze cases, determine strategy, and offer legal guidance.Supervise a team of paralegals to ensure client satisfaction and timely case management.Draft and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration-related cases.Requirements:3-5 years of experience practicing Immigration Law.Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Visas, EOIR proceedings, Detained Client representation, and USCIS applications.Experience with legal case management software (preferred).Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the bar.Certifications:Licensed attorney with admission to practice in any U.S. state, with preference for California Bar admission.Skills:Strong legal analysis and critical thinking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.Job Location:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Complimentary parking and catered lunches.Career development opportunities and professional growth within the firm.Inclusive and diverse work environment.
