In this pivotal role, you will forge and maintain relationships with philanthropic partners, crafting and executing innovative strategies to exceed fundraising goals and lead the major gift process. You will have the opportunity to manage a capital campaign consultant, collaborate with board members, and lead a dynamic local team to implement our fundraising strategies.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans.Build and nurture relationships with donors and stakeholders.Lead the major gift solicitation process.Engage with board members and coordinate fundraising efforts.Manage a capital campaign consultant effectively.Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in securing major gifts within a nonprofit environment, coupled with a strong passion for education and children's success. You should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Familiarity with CRM and fundraising software, especially Raiser's Edge, is favored. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a proven track record of success, capable of making impactful solicitation asks and acting as an outstanding ambassador for our organization.A Bachelor's degree is required. This role may involve occasional evening and weekend work, as well as some travel to school locations and periodic travel to New Jersey.
