We are looking for a Demand Planner to strengthen our energetic supply chain team to strike a balance between inventory levels and customer needs. If so, please continue reading to learn what the key accountabilities of the role are:•Leading and managing the sales forecasting process for the market to meet forecast accuracy objectives;•Collaborating closely with various key stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Business Planning) to ensure that the most relevant data and insights are used to generate an optimal sales forecast;•Using and maintaining our Digital Planning solution and master data to have process efficiency through automation; •Providing root cause analysis and corrective actions when and where needed; •Ensuring that new product introductions are timely reflected in demand plans in terms of cash, cost and service; •Collecting and using Market Intelligence insights from the stakeholders for all products in scope;•Identifying forecast risks and opportunities;•Leading the monthly demand planning meeting to align with all key stakeholders on the final sales forecast;•Work together with our European Supply Planning team on the production plan to produce the correct volumes in time. Our ideal candidate would match the following experience and competence requirements: •Min. 2 years experience within Supply Chain or Demand Planning •Able to anticipate issues and risks and react pro-actively•Accurately analyses data and translates it into action plans that improve business performance•Demonstrates business acumen and ability to see the ‘’bigger picture’’•Communicates well with different stakeholders and across all layers of the organization•Excels at understanding systems, data and automation •Fluency in English and preferably 1 of both country languages (Dutch or French) How does this sound? What will the selection process look like?Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. *Assessment TestsThe tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying.
