Job Description Industrial Security Analyst 2
Clearance Type: Top Secret SCI EligibleTelecommute: No- Teleworking not available for this positionResponsibilities
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipmentStudies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operationsObtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agenciesPrepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materialsConducts security education classes and security auditsInvestigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken under direction of the Security Manager, this position primarily serves as the Industrial Security Analysis for advanced programsReviewing and processing Personnel Security Requests (PARs)Shall conduct security briefings and maintains security education programsWill support the management and execution of program security as it applies to program protection and industrial security oversight for our Industrial Security ProgramsFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 year of relevant experience with a master's degreeKnowledgeable with the use of Company and Government Data Bases; SIMS, DISS and NISSPerforming and familiar with PERSEC dutiesDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communicationsExperience managing Security Vendors and keeping projects on scheduleThis position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)Company Awards
