Job Summary
Oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects and ensures compliance with all funding agencies and sponsors. Constructs data collection instruments and crafts promotional materials. Troubleshoots data and manages database. Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants. Performs budgetary and purchasing functions.Essential Functions
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the lab's mission of fostering LGBTQ+ youth and young adult health equity is carried out successfully.Coordinates and mentors undergraduate and graduate students on the technical team who carry out the lab's day-to-day workParticipate actively during weekly leadership meetings and biweekly strategy meetings with the Principal InvestigatorsCreates and complies with all protocols and manuals of proceduresTrains staff and studentsFacilitates budgetary and purchasing decisions.Coordinates multiple research projects, meetings, and team-building activitiesHelp foster a psychologically safe environment for team members to succeed and thriveOrient new members to the lab and introduce them to ongoing projectsTrack project milestones and help organize the team to meet goals and deadlinesConstructs data instruments
Physical Effort
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to ambulate between buildings on campus.
