Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission utility serving central and western Kansas, has a wonderful career opportunity ready for you! We're looking for a Maintenance Planning Coordinator for our Holcomb, KS facility! In this position, you'll get to coordinate future and ongoing work by creating plans, schedules, and assignments for the labor force to minimize interruptions or delays to the generation units. You'll get to establish and maintain professional interactions with contractors and industry contacts; write, review, verify and process work orders, and coordinate with other departments to ensure awareness and job progression. The successful candidate will help coordinate the overall efficiency, accuracy, and accountability of maintenance projects.

Top Qualifications:
High school diploma and three years coal-fired and/or gas-fired power plant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance and operation of a coal-fired and/or gas-fired power plant.
Knowledge of plant systems and equipment critical to station operation.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods, and protocol in an industrial environment.
