Service Operations Analyst.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Assistant Service Operations manager this position provides support to service operations coordinators, supervisors, managers, and back-office departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Collaborates in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals* Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, with Assistant Service Operations Manager to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered* Communicate with departments and maintain effective working relationships to identify service needs* Administers service policy and assists in making needed changes or creating new policies* Maintain sell rates, monthly work orders, and standard process for all service divisions

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of Caterpillar dealer service experience* Expert typing and computer skills* Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Expert ability to build, track and modify utilization reports* Expert ability with DBSi, and DSI* Demonstrate ability to learn and master various software systems that are key tools to perform duties* Must be willing to travel to other branch locations if neededDesired Technical Skills/Experience:* Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, for contact with customers and co-workers.* Must be able to effectively communicate over the phone and via Teams meetings.* Must be able to read and comprehend information received via computer terminal, specification reports, memos & reports.* Must be able to support outside vendors on new system implementation, system issues, and process changes* Must be able to support and train new users on ERP Systems, new policies and procedures
