Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) manages one of the most challenging radioactive waste cleanup projects in the country. Our focus is reducing the environmental risk posed by 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste stored in 177 underground tanks on the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. WRPS seeks a Prime Contract Administrator who will serve as project member to support complex contract activities.
The Prime Contract Administrator's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Directs and oversees contract reporting activities to project management, management and client as required.
Independently researches and provides guidance on complex contract matters, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR), cost principles, negotiations, client management, specific contract related reporting issues, contract file maintenance and contract closeout.
Identify new or revised requirements and notify appropriate project personnel.
Assemble, lead, and direct the technical and administrative functions in DOE Directed Change and Requests for Equitable Adjustment development to ensure all applicable rules and regulations are met prior to submittal
Assist management with post-submittal actions such as requests for information and contract negotiations.
Perform contract screenings to define changes in scope as being in or out of current contractual basis.
Monitor schedule of contract commitments and deadlines with internal and external customers.
Maintain contract documentation as required.
Direct and oversee initiatives outside the normal scope of duties (i.e. proposals, special studies).
Interface with all levels of management to support contract change, interpretation, and compliance.
Collaborate with co-workers to champion contract policy and procedure revision and improvement; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Grade 19:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or in related field
Nine (9) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 20:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or in related field
Ten (10) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Grade 21:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or in related field
Twelve (12) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.
Desired Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Access.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Hanford experience preferred.
Experience working within an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract type.
Understanding of FAR requirements, DOE Orders, and DOE Acquisition Regulations.
Ability to lead large projects with many stakeholders to meet deliverables and schedule.
High degree of self-motivated diligence; the applicant should have a proven self-starter quality who can grasp vague concepts and ideas and can carry through to produce high quality results.

Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $114,475
Hiring Range Maximum: $174,900
