Candidates need to live or relocate to one of the aforementioned states and working remotely will require reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours or online training.For this Epic Analyst position, wage is based on years of relevant experience as well as the level of the position. Depending upon a candidate's qualifications, we may hire at either the Medical Technologist Epic Analyst level or the Epic Analyst level. Details on the qualifications for each level are noted below.Salary Ranges per Level:Med Tech Epic Analyst:
$76,523 - $114,795 annually / Hourly = $36.79 (min) - $45.99 (mid) - $55.19 (max).Epic Analyst:
$70,533 - $105,810 annually / Hourly = $33.91 (min) - $42.39 (mid) - $50.87 (max).T ypical starting ranges are between the minimum to the midpoint of the position.This position will be expected to take 24/7 on-call support for a week at a time in rotation with the other members of the team. On-call rotation will begin when the staff member and Team Lead feel the level of skill has been achieved to triage and support end user critical needs.Position Summary
The
Epic Analyst/Med Tech Epic Analyst
for the Beaker team designs, analyzes, develops, tests, implements, and/or provides tier two technical assistance of assigned system applications. Consults with Epic representatives, application coordinators, supervisors, and end users to configure and build Epic software and applications to meet organizational and client needs. Troubleshoots problems, offers solutions, and recommends a course of action to address the issues and needs of the end user and to achieve client and/or hospital specifications for Epic applications. Develops and modifies procedures to solve complex data processing problems and/or prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. The Epic Beaker analyst is tasked with upgrade, support, and maintenance of the lab analyzer middleware and the blood bank application.Please Note: To be considered for this position, qualified applicants will need to take and pass a proprietary assessment developed by Epic Systems Corporation if not already Epic certified or Epic Accredited. Candidates that are Epic Proficient, whether from being onsite at Verona, remote, and/or through self-study, will need to take the assessment.Requirements for Epic Analyst Medical Technologist Level
MLS or MT experience with demonstrated proficiency in EPIC applications.Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS(ASCP)), or equivalent (AMT, NCA, military, or MT(ASCP)).Will be required to acquire Epic Proficiency within three months of hire.Will be offered the ability to gain Epic Certification in current application by attending classes in Verona, WI - with the expectation to sign retention contract and will be required to complete annual EPIC recertification requirements.Requirements for Epic Analyst Level
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent in education and/or experience (additional years of relevant experience is required if no degree).Minimum of 3 years of healthcare related experience in the area(s) of direct patient care, medical records, patient registration, scheduling, claims and/or information technology within a hospital or clinic, or the equivalent in education and experience.Total Rewards Package
