The Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resource Officer (SVP & CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of total rewards, talent management, change management, organizational design, training and development, employee/labor relations, and HR communication.The SVP & CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team and the board of directors ensuring Asante Health System's strategic human capital needs are met. Provides executive-level leadership and guidance to Asante's HR operations and is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesActively lead the plan and development of a cost-effective, integrated human resource function and workforce strategy in support of Asante's mission, vision, values, and business strategy.Effectively implement the Asante Workforce Strategy including HR Research and Development, Selection, Appraisal, Total Reward, Development, Organizational Design and Development, HR Communication, and Employee/Labor Relations.Create a culture that fosters staff self-development and continued learning.Function in a visible and integrated manner within the organization and the community at large by serving on appropriate committees and task forces; interacting with the Asante Board of Directors, as appropriate; circulating amongst Asante's entities; participating in professional associations, etc.Position QualificationsEducationMaster's degree in business or human Resources Management.ExperienceTen years of relevant experience in human resources leadership, including strategic leadership and managerial responsibilities in at least three Human Resource functions.Must have knowledge and previous experience with unions to include contracts, negotiations, and unionized staffing.Total Rewards PackageEarn a competitive and progressive salary.Benefit from health plans that are focused on health and wellness including medical, dental, vision and wellness beginning within 30 days of hire.Plan for your future with a retirement package that includes up to 6% employer contribution.Experience a healthy work-life balance with our generous earned time off (ETO).Continue to enhance your education through our tuition reimbursement and tuition repayment plans.At Asante, we are guided by our values below.
