TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. An active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to receive a Top Secret (TS) and have SCI eligibility is required

The Software Engineer designs, develops, and deploys software solutions. Support the software development team.

Responsibilities:

Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Produce and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale

Collaborate with Product Scrum Teams to:

Understand functional requirements and deliver high quality working software throughout sprints, demos, releases and the full software development life cycle.

Participate in scrum ceremonies including story mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Demonstrate work in sprint demo and customer demos for feedback.

Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

3+ years relative experience as Software Programmer/Developer/Enginee

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering or Technical field

An active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to receive a Top Secret (TS) and have SCI eligibility

Languages:

Angular

Javascript, Typescript, Python, Bash

C#, C++, Java or similar language

SQL, SQl Server

Platform Libraries/Frameworks:

net core

NodeJS, React, Vue.JS

EFK Stack (Elasticsearch, FluentD and Kabana)

Docker and Kubernetes

PyTest, Mocha, Jest, MsTest, nUnit and nSubstitute

Paradigms:

REST, GRPC

Microservices

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Agile and Scrum:

Ability to work in an agile development environment

Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $110,000 to $140,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
