**Job Duties**
Provide engineering expertise to support production and other departments in maintaining production systems, utilities, buildings, and grounds, ensuring continuous operations 24/7Collaborate with plant management and corporate teams to enhance employee safety, product quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness using Continuous Improvement methodologies and a Management Operating Structure (MOS)Design, specify, and oversee the execution of capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectationsUse a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to maximize asset performance through scheduled preventative maintenanceDevelop, track, and analyze key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for corrective actions and improvementsStay updated on industry regulations and codes related to the design and operation of mechanical and electrical systemsEnsure adherence to corporate policies, standards, and procedures in both capital project execution and daily maintenance activitiesShare best practices within the Maintenance Department to promote continuous learning and improvementFoster a safe and environmentally responsible workplace that complies with all relevant federal, state, and local regulationsLead employees indirectly, assisting the recruitment, retention, training, performance management, and disciplinary actionsParticipate in labor negotiations, grievances, and other contract-related matters as neededCollaborate effectively with all departments as a change agent, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional cooperationEnsure compliance with all corporate policies, procedures, and vendor agreements with national suppliersUndertake managerial duties such as planning, organizing, evaluating, and delegating tasks as part of day-to-day operationsPerform other duties as assigned
