Job Summary

The Assistant Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions, will serve as an active team member of Chicago Booth\'s MBA and Master enrollment team. The Assistant Director will support a variety of recruiting and evaluation activities, primarily focusing on Booth\'s Master programs and Chicago Booth Scholars (CBS) deferred admission pathways for undergraduates.

Responsibilities

Works closely with Associate Director to develop and execute annual recruiting strategy. Leads information sessions and webinars, counsel prospective applicants, and implement yield events.Supports the Master program\'s application review committee by reviewing, interviewing and evaluating applications based on defined criteria and provide input on admissions decisions.Plans and conducts Master/CBS recruiting outreach including in-person and virtual opportunities. Hosts webinars, information sessions, college visits and other recruitment activities.Coordinates yield activities and communication to admitted Master and CBS students.Collaborates with current Master students for their participation in recruiting activities.Expands engagement with undergraduate students around the globe to foster early promotion of MBA and Master program opportunities.Assists with operations for Booth\'s Master program and deferred admissions pathways, including liaising with program alumni, annual programming calendar, and the annual reading process.Works closely with the admissions marketing and operations teams to meet needs of pipeline development efforts.Recruits and/or evaluates applicants for admission by interviewing, reading applications and summarizing evaluations. Completes these tasks independently or with some guidance and instruction from others.Participates in special projects such as developing marketing materials, monitoring budgets and recruiting underrepresented groups with moderate/high levels of authority.Performs other related work as eeded.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor\'s degree.

Experience:

A minimum two years of experience in higher education, recruitment, sales or other related field.Background organizing and hosting events for small and large groups of individuals in person and virtually.

Technical Skills or Knowledge:

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Proficient using Technolutions Slate as an application management system.

Preferred Competencies

Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills.

Work independently, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend effective changes, all while achieving key objectives resulting in desired outcomes.
