About the Role:

AMZ Advisers is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to develop and manage robust data infrastructure, enabling efficient analysis and insights generation. The Data Engineer will work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, making data easily accessible and valuable for business insights. This role demands a balance of technical expertise and creative problem-solving, aiming to enhance internal processes and data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, create, and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture to support efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.Assemble and organize large, complex data sets that meet business requirements for functionality and performance.Identify and implement internal process improvements, including the automation of manual processes, data optimization, and infrastructure redesign for greater scalability.Develop infrastructure for optimal data flow from multiple data sources using SQL, AWS, and other big data technologies.Build analytics tools to leverage data pipelines for actionable insights, driving customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including executives, product, data, and design teams to resolve data-related issues and meet infrastructure needs.Ensure data separation and security across international borders using AWS data centers and regions.Create and maintain data tools for data scientists and analytics teams, supporting product enhancement and innovation.Work with data and analytics experts to drive functionality and innovation within the data systems.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; relevant certifications in data engineering (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer, Google Certified Professional) are a plus.5+ years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.Advanced practical knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.Proficiency in big data tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and workflow management tools (Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow).Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with unstructured data sets, identifying business improvement opportunities.Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift) and streaming processing systems (Storm, Spark-Streaming).Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, C++, Scala) for object-oriented programming.Strong organizational skills, with a successful track record of managing projects and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.What We Offer:
