Job Summary:
The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software solutions to address business problems. The role involves interpreting technical specifications, implementing code, and conducting unit tests to ensure high-quality, scalable software. The candidate will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. This role also emphasizes leadership in CI/CD initiatives, team mentorship, and agile methodologies to drive product success.
Key Responsibilities:
•Interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions to business problems.
•Develop and maintain software solutions based on technical specifications.
•Analyze and investigate software issues reported by clients and document findings.
•Perform maintenance activities and correct defects identified during testing.
•Run unit tests, implement test plans, test harnesses, and document test results.
•Suggest solutions to defects and software issues detected during testing.
•Provide technical guidance on CI/CD initiatives to multiple tech teams.
•Drive agile-based product development supporting organizational priorities.
•Mentor team members to ensure individual and project success.
•Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to design and prioritize features.
•Lead daily agile ceremonies, platform discussions, and manage stories on JIRA and Kanban boards.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 years of solid CI/CD experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience.
•At least 5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS).
•Minimum of 3 years working in the Banking/Payments sector.
•Proven experience in data innovation and data technology in the context of data as a product.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
