*Orientation twice monthly Duke Lifepoint Hospital 355 beds Home to the Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU 32 bed ED, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging Frye South Campus comprises of an 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital Unit Profile Facility Name: Frye Regional Medical Center Floor: 2nd Trauma Level:3 Position Information: • Facility Department/Cost Center CVICU 6540 • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN • Specialty:CABG , TAVR, STEMI, Carotids • Number of Openings: • Shift: • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: every other weekend or to meet the needs of the facility • Call Requirements: no on call • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred • Years of Experience: minimum 1.5 years • Float Requirements: per scheduled rotation • Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 8 • Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1 • Equipment: Impella , IABP, CRRT • EHR: Cerner • Patient Population e.g. 'geriatric, adult, peds, etc.': Adult/Geriatric • Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year CVICU experience (after orientation complete) • Preferred Skillset/Experience: CVICU experience • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids • Personality Fit: strong critical thinking skills • Required Education:Assoicate Nursing Degree • Dress Code: • Scrub Color: any color but professionalJob Requirements
