Our PM/CM team is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Quality Assurance in Naples, FL. In this role you’ll be part of the Owner’s Representative (OR) management team and work at the project site office supporting the Owner. You’ll be responsible for technical, and some minor administrative work during the construction through occupancy of the client’s forensics building and a vehicle storage building. You’ll review contract documents to become familiar with the project requirements, conduct on-site observations to determine contract conformance, ensuring quality construction is achieved, and the project has been completed per contract requirements.
Additional responsibilities include the following:
Review contract documents, shop drawings and related construction documents
Conduct field observations and documentation of the project from the start of construction through occupancy
Monitor progress and performance of contractors
Review pay applications and change orders.
Monitor project construction schedules and reports
Prepare daily observation reports
Attend assigned meetings including the weekly job progress/OAC meetings
Assist in the preparation of punch list and closeout documentation
Perform related work as required
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience at a construction superintendent level or higher or any equivalent combination of related training and experience related to vertical building construction
A thorough knowledge of industry standards and construction quality practices
A thorough knowledge of materials, methods, principles, and practices used in the construction trades
Familiarity with building codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications and the ability to recognize deviations from such plans in the construction process
Ability to comprehend and present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to create and submit clear and concise reports in a timely manner
Understanding of construction schedules and payment applications
Ability to read and interpret schedules
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Architects, Contractors, Engineers, Owner’s personnel, and the public
Intermediate Excel and Word skills
High school diploma or GED
Ideally, you’ll also have
MS Project experience
