This critical senior management role is essential for overseeing the agency's financial operations, including managing a large annual budget and payroll. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Budget to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.Your key responsibilities will include:Assisting in the planning, directing, and administration of fiscal operations.Leading all accounting operations and managing year-end closeout activities.Responding to audits and ensuring compliance.Utilizing financial management systems to drive improvements, enhance data accuracy, and automate processes.The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience in budget preparation, presentation, and execution. While a Bachelor's degree in a related field can serve as an alternative to this experience, having an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or certification is highly preferred. Experience with Financial Management Information System (FMIS) modules is essential, along with proficiency in the Google software suite.
