JOB SUMMARY
The Cloud Engineer 3 acts as a tech lead and is responsible for maintaining a healthy cloud environment. Responsibilities include utilizing an agile and innovative mindset to administer, develop and maintain our cloud environment (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft 365) and growing your skills and knowledge to keep abreast of the ever-changing technology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Partner with development and QA teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications using Azure products and services (e.g. App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL databases, Storage Account, Automation Account, other PaaS offerings)Partner with business users to design, build, and deploy low-code or no-code applications using Power Platform products and services (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)Lead and empower developers by providing support of Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise and implementing CI/CD best practicesStreamline enterprise operations with scripting and automation in PowerShellResponsible for provision and configure cloud resources using Bicep and Azure PortalBuild and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting solutions for resource and service healthTroubleshoot issues related to cloud services and networking to ensure high availability and reliabilityOptimize cloud resource usage for performance, cost, and scalabilityPartner with cyber security, risk, governance, and compliance teams to improve cloud securityResponsible for maintaining documentation and knowledge base for cloud architectures and system dependencyIndependently lead and drive project delivery with technical direction, domain expertise, and business contextLead cloud solution architecture sessions with cross-function teamsProvide tech expertise and leadership in training and mentoring less experienced team membersContinuously review and improve cloud engineering practice based on Azure Well-Architected FrameworkEfficiently and effectively execute cloud innovation and improvement plans to achieve better reliability, security, cost optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiencyAssess and document improvement plans based on Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure and Microsoft Power Platform adoption best practicesPerforms other related duties as necessary or assigned.
