The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for enacting a strategic vision for the growth and development of the college. This role involves providing entrepreneurial and engaged leadership, overseeing academic departments, faculty, curriculum, and development, and championing applied research and innovation. The Dean will also be tasked with budget and resource management, establishing and executing strategic plans, and leading fundraising activities. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including industry and other educational institutions, is a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's College of Health, Arts, and Sciences must have an earned terminal degree and a strong academic background that warrants tenure at the full professor level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in academic leadership, a broad knowledge of health professions, arts, and sciences, and experience in program development and personnel management. Skills in budgeting, planning, and fiscal management are essential, as is a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Dean should be adept at creating and sustaining programs across the disciplines represented within the college and have a demonstrated ability to promote excellence in teaching and academic quality.
