HOTEL NAME is currently seeking a Chief Engineer
The Chief Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining the property's exterior and interior facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, general equipment, and grounds.

Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility including physical building structure, grounds, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment
Preventative maintenance and repair of the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, and for the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, FF&E, grounds, swimming pool, etc.
Monitor life safety systems and utilities and administer the department on compliance with all corporate/franchise standards and local, state and national codes and regulations to protect assets, guests and associates.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required OR 5 years related experience and or training
Hospitality experience preferred
Knowledgeable of basic repair and maintenance skills including carpentry skills, grouting, painting, caulking, and blueprint reading
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
