Well-ventilated facilityJob DetailsWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Certified Welding Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in MIG, TIG and Flux-core welding techniques, a comprehensive understanding of welding symbols, and extensive experience working with aluminum. As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all our welding operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Responsibilities:1. Conduct regular inspections of welding work in progress and completed projects, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, codes, and safety regulations.2. Interpret and implement blueprints, welding symbols, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).3. Perform visual inspections of welds, analyze welding reports, and carry out non-destructive testing (NDT) where necessary.4. Provide technical guidance and support to the welding team, promoting best practices for MIG, TIG, and Flux-core welding.5. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve welding-related issues.6. Document inspection results by completing detailed reports, summarizing re-works, and waste, and inputting data into quality database.7.
