Position Summary and Job Responsibilities
Position Summary
As a member of the BGI team, you will participate in dyamic Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) programs for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft at Nellis AFB, NV. In this position, you will provide the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) Detachment 6 and the United Operational Test Team (UOTT) with full stack software development support.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Utilize modern front-end frameworks such as React and Vue to build responsive and interactive user interfaces.Design and implement server-side logic using JavaScript, Java, and Python.Build and maintain backend systems with Node.js and Express.Work with relational and non-relational databases including SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of web applications.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.Required and/or Preferred Qualifications
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)
U.S. Citizenship is required.A Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience is required.Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.Strong back-end development skills in JavaScript (Node.js), Java, and Python.Experience with backend frameworks like Express.Expertise in working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
