Currently, we are looking for the next Planning Coordinator I - Managed Operations to join the ArcBest team. The Planning Coordinator I executes Managed Operations services/analyses for ArcBest customers and service providers based on agreed upon business rules, through the use of our Transportation Management Software (TMS) platform. This position supports all customer needs for data and shipment management including performing data analyses to determine and pro-actively address inefficiencies, delivering dynamic transportation and logistics solutions that support the needs of the customer focusing heavily on lead times, visibility, transportation costs, and available carrier capacity, and offering special project support in order to continually integrate and update providers and vendors in the TMS. The Planning Coordinator I collaborates with various ArcBest divisions to identify root causes and initiate process improvements as well as executes any and all supply chain needs to support the objectives of the customer and ArcBest.
Your contribution may include:
Serve as the voice of the Managed Operations customer inside ArcBest.
Support and execute pre-defined Managed Transportation solutions using the TMS software platform that helps customers become more efficient.
Serve as the liaison between the customer and their providers/vendors/carriers to execute and support logistics needs in the TMS.
Serve as the liaison for Managed Operations while collaborating with departments to resolve difficulties that impact numerous parties.
Implement problem solving solutions to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers and payments to carriers.
Perform in-depth analyses on financial and operational reporting for Managed Operations.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer’s unique needs, aiding in the procurement and onboarding process for new vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
Maintain documentation of all customer TMS processes and business rules to ensure continuity.
Monitor (track and trace) customers’ shipments/loads while also effectively managing carrier relationships.
Provide internal communications related to key performance metrics, program updates, TMS implementation needs, vendor integration, and on-going technical solution information.
Create innovative ways to execute supply chain objectives more efficiently through the TMS platform.
Manage daily activities for numerous accounts and requests from internal and external customers to ensure all special requirements are met.
Grow profitable revenue for ArcBest through our different service offerings.
Build, develop, and grow all internal business relationships vital to the success of revenue growth and customer experience.
Display a sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail.
React effectively to customer and carrier demands and deadlines.
Improve quality, productivity, and effectiveness through the quality process.
Other duties and projects, as assigned.
As the next Planning Coordinator I - Managed Operations, you will be a member of the ArcBest team. Work schedule: Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Experience
Logistics experience, preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Required
Database and Transportation Management systems experience Preferred
