The CISO will be responsible for executing IT risk management processes, guiding security threat detection and response efforts, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's information resources. This role demands a strategic thinker who can develop and implement a long-term information security strategy, lead the creation of comprehensive security policies, and ensure compliance with a range of applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also be tasked with fostering a security-aware culture, overseeing security operations, and leading a team of security professionals. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 10 years' of experience in managing an information security area. Deep technical knowledge in information security and risk management, as well as experience with IT and information security standards, is essential. The role requires the ability to effectively communicate security concepts to diverse audiences and a strong customer service ethic. Experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of managing a comprehensive information security program, is a must.
