Harmon, Inc. You will be responsible for managing and driving continuous improvement in Harmon's Quality Assurance and Quality Control Process.This will optimize and standardize Harmon Manufacturing's current QA/QC plan across the facilities, improving upon the talent and depth of our site quality teams, and building a continuous improvement culture for Quality throughout each Project's lifecycle cross functionally between Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. This position reports to the Director, Manufacturing Excellence located in Dallas Texas. POSITION DESCRIPTION Your contributions to the team Partner with Director of Manufacturing Excellence and Plant Managers to lead quality assurance and controls through entire project lifecycle. Optimize current QA/QC plan and standardization Manage team of QC Leads/Techs for mfg. facilities Develop and conduct internal and external audit processes to identify and address non-conformances. Build QA/QC into Apogee Management System (AMS) through KPI standardization, tier meeting structure, training, and development of control plans. Partner and coordinate with Engineering & Operations to improve upon; Revision Control; Harmon Engineering Standards; Deviation Control; Vendor Quality; Escalation Process; and Clear Communication Protocols. EXPERIENCE What you need to be successful Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in relevant engineering degree is preferred 7-10 years of experience in quality management Experience in manufacturing and construction (Preferably in glazing) Continuous Improvement experience - Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Preferred Previous experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programs & CAD. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and understand project specifications. Ability to perform thermal analysis.
