Overview
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates with hiring managers to source, assess and select permanent and temporary talent for the organization.
Identify and utilize creative sourcing to find talented candidates, and ensure recruiting metrics are delivered.
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities
Essential Functions:
Oversee the recruitment process from opening a requisition through to hire. Includes working within HR group to maintain effective processes.
Drive excellence in hiring - interview candidates to assess capabilities and background.
Conduct candidate debrief meetings to solicit interview feedback. Make recommendations to hiring manager.
Partner with Hiring Mangers and the HRBPs to develop offers that are competitive and meet internal equity levels
Lead our college recruitment initiatives including establishing partnerships with key universities and colleges, attending on campus events, and organizing onsite visits
Create a strong, positive image of Werfen in the marketplace by building and managing strong relationships with candidates, external contacts, and vendors.
Develop and maintain knowledge of our business to effectively market the organization and opportunities.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for the Applicant Tracking System, training end users and managers as needed.
Implement improvements to the process and/or tools being utilized proactively.
Serve as liaison with area employment agencies and selected recruitment vendors.
Provide candidate feedback on the interviews/selection process.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Maintain knowledge of staffing laws and regulations, ensure regulatory compliance and update the staffing process as needed.

Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
Minimum of five (5) years previous relevant experience
Prior experience in full cycle corporate recruiting; including a technical/biotech/medical device environment, preferably in a corporate recruiting role
Must be able to source candidates from job boards, niche sites, social networking, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Prior experience with university relations and recruitment a plus
Proven track record of hiring top talent while meeting time and cost per hire goals
Knowledge of state/federal laws and guidelines, as well as current immigration laws and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision; must also be able to work as part of a team
Proven ability to interact with all organizational levels is essential
