**Guaranteed Hours:**
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience required
**License:** RN Licensure
**Certifications:** NRP (required), STABLE (preferred)
**Must-Have:** NRP, experience with central lines (UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, etc.)
**Job Description:**
- Serve as a vital member of a team of healthcare professionals in a NICU with 42 beds.- Collaborate with a team consisting of 70 staff members, including 10-15 RNs and 1 PCT per shift.- Manage patient ratios of 1-3 for level 3 patients and 3-4 for level 2 patients depending on acuity.- Utilize equipment such as isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, and computers.- Use Meditech and CPN for electronic medical records management.- Perform typical unit procedures including IV starts and PICC insertions.- Demonstrate teamwork and motivation to foster a positive unit environment.- Participate in a resourceful unit with available guidelines and policies.- Work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule, with occasional on-call duties.- Wear royal blue scrubs as part of the dress code.- Flexibility to float to the newborn nursery.
