POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 6000 Broken Sound Pkwy NW, Boca Raton, FL 33487 (Hybrid In-Office/Remote Position)
Salary: $126,651.00 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Duties:Responsible for software development and design of applications, use case designing creating solutions and improving quality of software products.Plan and accomplish goals with engineering team(s)Performs consultation on complex projectsApplies expertise in leading and coordinating others across multiple concurrent projects with complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires both broad and in-depth evaluation of variable factorsGuides regarding methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Build and ship software at scale to deliver impactParticipate in architectural decisions and implementation across the engineering organizationAct as a domain expert to influence technology choicesParticipate in estimating, designing, developing to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of complex developed or enhanced software applications across multiple concurrent projects, based on requirements relevant to product and system developmentParticipate in the sub-disciplines of software and systems engineering, including requirement development, product design, software estimation, software design, software construction (coding), software test, and performing software maintenance. Provides guidance to junior about functionality, efficacy and qualityCan lead or participate in conception and writing of development release strategy and scripts for major release/core functional areas; analyzes and understands each project's environment, architecture, and interdependencies and leads others to determine and apply appropriate development methodologies and cases relative to applications being tested, development and execution of functional and system level developmentWork with immediate and cross-functional distributed teams to evaluate and interpret functional, design and requirements specificationsInteract with management and architecture to understand issues that may arise around development and leads research in order to provide solutions which add, modify, or enhance developmentReview results analyses for conformance to plans and specifications making recommendations based on the results.May conduct independent research or, as directed, plan and conduct projects or phases of pro-jects; analyzes, evaluates, and plans methods of approach to solve problems central to an as-signed research or programming project and the estimated resources for completionSpecialize in multiple complex areas of Orangetheory Product TechnologiesProvide input to Software Engineering and Test processes and procedures; in-corporates broader test strategy into project workflow processHelp others to meet or exceed standards for the quality and timeliness of the work products that they create (e.g., automated tests, test plans and cases)Maintain close liaison with other departments on technical matters and works closely with vendors or customers on issues relating to Orangetheory products; acts as a development expert in project team meetings and accurately communicates.Required Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:
AWS DevOps Infrastructure-integration; UI- UX best practices using ReactJS, QA practices, concepts and procedures, including object oriented languages (Java and, C#); NodeJs; Shell Scripting; SQL, or NOSql; Message Queues; Asynchronous and Multithreaded programming; JSON; XML; CloudFormation; Serverless Framework; and CICD.
