Role Summary

Nuuly is searching for an Associate Inventory Planner. They will support the efficient flow and distribution of inventory to designated sell-off locations. This role focuses on executing strategies to manage and sell off obsolete or slow-moving inventory, partnering closely with the Manager of Inventory Planning and the Merchandise Planning teams to identify opportunities that maximize inventory turnover, profitability, and warehouse space optimization.

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory for sell-off, contributing to timely decisions that minimize overstock. Support the diagnosis and resolution of bottlenecks in fulfillment centers that affect the sell-off process, ensuring efficient inventory movement to sell-off locations. Assist in implementing and executing scalable sell-off solutions to effectively manage inventory, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience. Work with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy in inventory processing, ensuring compliance with performance standards. Analyze inventory data to help forecast demand for sell-off, aiding in reducing excess stock and maintaining optimal levels at various locations. Support the returns, inbound, inspection, and outbound processes related to sell-offs, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to SLAs. Assist with maintaining transparent reporting tools to track the sell-off process, shrinkage, and inventory flow, ensuring visibility across the network. Partner with Merchandise Planning, Inventory, and Logistics teams to support network-wide sell-off initiatives and optimize inventory distribution. Role Qualifications

2+ years related experience, allocation or store planning a plus Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field. High degree of technical proficiency i.e., Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Experience in inventory management, ideally within a specialty retailer and/or start-up environment. Strong analytical skills, with a basic understanding of demand planning and identifying inventory obsolescence. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, focusing on process improvement. Strong communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders. Detail-oriented with experience in a fast-paced setting.
