Advise clients in a variety of industries about environmental policies, laws, and standards. Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, experts in law or business, and other specialists to address environmental problems, including climate change. Assist with the review and development of Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) programs and related reporting in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards. Compile, review, and report on meaningful data related to ESG programs. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in meeting their ESG goals in response to the evolving regulatory and business environment. Define and support client engagements and internal workstreams related to operational analysis, sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, disclosure frameworks, and implementation of related tools to support clients' achievement of sustainability/ESG objectives. Work with engagement and development teams to define and incorporate knowledge of climate and ESG subject matter into engagement definition, solution development, and strategy. Apply advanced industry and environmental engineering knowledge to provide and implement recommendations related to sustainability/ESG programs. Provide input on decisions related to environmental remediation, including work plan and timeline, project management, resource allocation, and career development of staff members. Pursue business development opportunities, including developing point of views, publishing white papers, writing responses to proposals, and other activities regarding sustainability and environmental programs. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Climate Science, Environmental Sciences Policy and Management, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Climate Science, Environmental Sciences Policy and Management, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG) accounting methodologies; Digital Transformation and renewables; Clean energy technologies, including Hydrogen, Waste to Energy, or Energy Storage; Science-based Targets initiative (SBTi); Carbon credits markets and trading; Climate risk assessment and climate scenario analysis; Data strategy, technology strategy, and technology implementation; Data engineering and data life cycle management; Sustainability reporting frameworks, including Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP); Climate disclosures, including reporting to US Security Exchange Commission (SEC); and State and local laws related to climate, including Local Law 97.Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 50%.Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 119233 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
