Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Applications Engineer to work in our Hartland, WI office. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree or related field equivalent.Job Description:
Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needsDevelop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technologyAuthor technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performancePrepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scopeParticipate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expertCreate and deliver technical content to support business development initiativesParticipate in pilot testing programs for process validationComplete engineering activities including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layoutCollaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-upSkill Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitudePossess strong mechanical aptitudeBenefits:
