Unit: ED / Trauma# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)Ratios: 1:4 ratioEMR: CernerCharge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient loadNurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sittersScrubs: Navy colorTele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read stripsVents: Managed by RTHospitalist or Intensivists in houseIV Team: Core RNs are US trainedRT 24/7Pharmacy 24/7: Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/dayAdditional Details
Float Policy: Can be float between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, and the 2 Free Standing ERs in Litchfield Park & Glendale. (4 facilities total)DAY 1 PASS FAIL EXAM, STUDY GUIDE PROVIDED WIH FDIPASS FAIL SIMs Lab: ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change
