Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 + Up to 10% bonus

The Job

Located in Riverside, we are a leading retailer of all things bike (and moving into camp and hike) - mountain, road, e-bike, you name it. Our product offering makes for a unique work environment as there isn't a warehouse like ours in the area. Many of our team members are avid riders (and campers), and while it isn't a requirement for the job, you just might end up on a bike or find yourself in a tent staring at the stars. The Project/Product Manager will play a pivotal role in managing multiple Company initiatives and department projects, leading the successful delivery of projects while overseeing the full product lifecycle. This individual will ensure that the product vision aligns with the company's strategic goals and customer needs and will manage the cross-functional teams responsible for delivering this vision. The ideal candidate is both execution-focused and customer-oriented, with a strong ability to lead teams, manage timelines, and balance competing priorities. The successful candidate will communicate closely with the Leadership team.

* This is a hybrid role based in Riverside, CA. The position requires in-office presence at least one day per week, with an average of 2-3 days in the office depending on business needs. Flexibility to adjust based on team collaboration or project requirements is expected.

Project Management

Plan, initiate, build cross functional team, and manage multiple projects from concept to completion.Determine if cross functional resources exist to complete approved projects and make resource recommendations, if needed, to meet expected timelines.Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between departments (Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Accounting).Facilitate group priority owner huddles to ensure action items are strategic in nature to meet/improve revenue, implement performance improvements, identify efficiencies and overall, move a project forward.Monitor and report to the Executive team on project progress, manage risks, and resolve any issues that arise.Actively participate and support the tasks that ensure all activities meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.Evaluate effectiveness of company priority projects post-implementation, (e.g. 90 and quarterly), to identify successes, anticipated ROI, and lessons learned, reporting findings to Executive Team.Product Management

Own the intake process for new requests, developing high level scope and requirements in partnership with IT and the business for evaluation and prioritization in monthly technology roadmap meeting.Own monthly technology roadmap discussions, reporting on progress, presenting new projects/requests and manage the prioritization with the Executive team.Prioritize work which aligns with Business strategy and achieves company's goalsDefine Business project requirements and coordinate with IT to write clear and concise technology specifications, and prioritize features for development.Partner with Business and IT to research and demo potential third party solutions and, managing the integration if "buy" is determined.Monitor and hold accountable the Business and IT teams to achieve roadmap key milestonesWork closely with the IT team to deliver high-quality products.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or equivalent preferredProject or Product Management experienceProficiency in project management toolsExperience managing backlogs, including Jira-based backlogsExperience creating product and feature documentation, and assessing designs for logical gaps or areas of particular build complexity in partnership with ITExperience working closely with technical teams and an inherent sense of levels of effort for both design and build for web and mobile applications.Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Demonstrated abilities in verbal and written communicationsStrong Analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge and experience in the bike industry is a plus!Ability to meet deadlines and be multi-task orientedSkills/Abilities
