Job Title: Machine Builder ($18-20 hr.)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for assembling and refurbishing custom machines from start to finish, using hand and power tools, and reading blueprints and schematics.
This position is on the 1st shift, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional overtime and Saturday work.
Responsibilities
Build custom machines from start to finish and refurbish existing machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Use hand and power tools proficiently.
Build crates and skids for shipping.
Troubleshoot and repair machines.
Apply basic math skills, including ratios, weights, and the metric system.
Test machines and troubleshoot any issues.
Mount sensors and pneumatic components.
Operate cut-off saws, bending equipment, and drill presses.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Participate in daily organizational meetings, providing input and addressing questions or concerns.
Follow work orders to complete jobs within specified timeframes.
Identify, strip, and connect wires, ensuring proper locking into devices
