The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, NRP, Adv-AWHONN and CA license.Schedule Information
Monday - Friday 8:30-5 and 12:30pm-9pmWeekend Requirements: one Sunday per monthHoliday Requirements: generally noIs there a call or standby requirement?Unit/Department specific orientation: L&D, Mother-baby/Peds and NICU;12 hr days w/varied start times of 8:30a or 12:30p, call included, EOW, First to FloatAdditional Details
# L&D Beds: 6 can go into PP for additional 5 rooms# OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? 1# Triage beds: 3# Postpartum beds: 11 PP and 6 gyn/pedi/ms overflow# Births per day? Month? Year? 65-70/month 775-800/yearDo you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? yesDo you require L&D to float to MB/PP? YESCirculate & recover C-Sections? YESAre RNs required to titrate drips? yesCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: insulinCharge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge nurses and house supervisors. Ideally, CN don't take an assignmentAre there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? OB tech/UC roleOB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? OB/CNM 24/7 in house, Neo oncall 24/7Anesthesia in house 24/7?
