Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring.Minimum Experience: 2 years in specialty area.Preferred: Previous experience working in Critical Access Hospital.Required Skillset: Ability to work independently in Labor & Delivery, Post-partum, and Med/Surg. Ability to work in charge nurse capacity as backup including previous charge experience.Schedule Information
12 hr nights (1645p-0515a).Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend and holiday rotation.Float Requirements: Must be able to float between MS and OB.On-Call/Call Back Requirements: Would be on call if agreeable due to low census, call back in an emergency.Unit Specific Information
Bed Size: 25-bed hospital, Med/Surg - 20 beds; OB - 4 LDRP, 1 post-partum/c-section prep.Case Type: Labor & Delivery, Post-partum, and Med/Surg.Patient Ratio: OB - 1:1 active labor, 1:2 early labor, post-partum up to 1:3; Med/Surg - up to 1:5, typical 1:3-4.CNAs work both shifts.Scrub colors: OB Scrubs are provided by the hospital. Staff choice for Med/Surg.Additional Details
