Shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630Weekend Requirements: Every otherHoliday Requirements: Every other or as needed based on unit needsFloating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICUOrientation: 2 shifts of unit/department specific orientationUnit Specific Information
Med Surg ICU RNCommon diagnoses/Types of patients: Neuro surgery, Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, general surgery, psych/OD, GI bleeds, cancer specific surgeriesEquipment: Zoll -Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuserDraeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry monitoring.Additional Details
Fast paced unit with volume flexes due to being primary tertiary hospital for the system.Successful nurse attributes: ability to ask questions, positive attitude, willingness to help others, critical thinking skills, personable.
