A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Neuro ICU/Intensive Care Unit RN's for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have two years of Neuro ICU experience in a large level one Trauma facility.Job Requirements
2 years ICU experience required in large (450+)Level 1 Trauma experience required.6 months travel experience.Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.Schedule Information
12hr / 7-7. May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.12 hour nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidaysUnit Specific Information
Floating: Required to float between all ICU floors, and all Tele Units with a patient load of 4:1 on tele. 1st to floatFloor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor.Additional Details
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attemptsDAY 1 PASS/FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care.
