A hospital in Arizona is looking for an experienced ICU RN to work a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current ICU experience. Travelers will float to tele about 80% of the time, so they need to be comfortable with this. They could float to sister facility in Laveen, as needed.Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current ICU.COVID vaccine is required or acceptable declination form with hospital approval.A dysrhythmia exam is required prior to start (2 max attempts).Pass/fail Sim Lab is required on Day 1 of orientation.Schedule Information
Shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a.Weekend Requirement: Work weekends in rotation with core staff.Holidays: Work in rotation with core staff.Unit Specific Information
Certs: ACLS/BLS.Ratios: 2 patients per nurse.EMR: CERNER.Tele: Yes.Vents: Provided.Floating: To tele and as needed to sister facility.Floor specific orientation provided.IV Team: No.RT 24/7: Yes.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: ICU- DKA, Hypotension, pressors, vents, bipaps. Do not have a cath lab or MRI or neuro services presently.Additional Details
ACLS, BLS; travel experience required.Traveler will work with ICU and PCU Population, must have ICU skill set.CLINICAL PRESCREEN, if clinical recommends, manager must approve before offer, no 2nd interview.Traveler may be required to complete SIMs Lab skills including Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, maintaining a sterile field.No phlebotomy nurses, will draw all labs, no cafeteria at night; Nights, Must work Christmas.
