Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for assembling sensor switches, power packs, ceiling sensors, and other related products throughout the day. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a solid work ethic. The role requires standing for long periods and being comfortable using basic hand tools. Mechanical tasks will include assembling housing components and performing small wiring and assembly of components within the housing.

Responsibilities

Assemble sensor switches, power packs, ceiling sensors, and other products.

Use basic hand tools for assembly tasks.

Perform mechanical assembly of housing components.

Conduct small wiring tasks as part of the assembly process.

Maintain a strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality assembly.

Work independently and stay until the job is finished.

1+ year of assembly experience

Mechanically inclined

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, inspection, or as a technician

Work Environment

The work environment is controlled and features a very small team of about 10 people in total, with approximately 6 people working on the assembly line. It is a laid-back environment where the ability to work independently is crucial. The dress code is casual, requiring employees to be presentable but without the need for formal attire. The hours for this position are 1st shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with Friday through Sunday off.

This is a Contract position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut.
