Job Summary:
Job Title: Regional Sales Director (Wine and Spirits): Central – 10 states
Location: Remote with ability to travel 60% of the time
Position Summary:
Armand de Brignac Champagne, a Roc Nation joint venture, is seeking a high caliber candidate for our Regional Sales Director position. This role will be responsible for the management of 10 Central States; MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, KS, NM, OK, TX, AR; delivering results through a carefully planned sales strategy: focusing on profit, volume goals and brand positioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Distributors management:
Communicate brand goals, evaluate distributors’ performance and conduct quarterly business review meetings
State performance monitoring and monthly reviews:
Depletions, shipments, accounts sold, programming, pricing
Develop brand plans and execution in each market, including brand activations and events planning
Annual and monthly case goals submission by type and size
Create target account lists: identify new opportunities and design action plans for accounts lost
Coordinate introduction meetings with the distributors and General Sales Meetings
Develop relationships with the distribution network: from VPs /GMs levels to sales representatives and purchasing managers
Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with key buyers in all channels.
Brand education, training, and guidance: luxury positioning, menu pricing and programming, BTG offering, POSM display and usage
Negotiate brand’s sales priority months within distributors’ quarterly calendars and build sales incentives to support state goals
Manage A&P and T&E budgets in the region
Regular travel to the markets, conducting trade accounts’ visits and in-person distributors’ meetings
Qualifications:
Must have at least 5-10 years distributor and supplier wine and spirits sales experience within this territory
Wine sales experience and wine credentials with certifications a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience desired
Computer literate with a fluent knowledge of MS Office for reporting and presentations
Strong distributor management experience and strong negotiation skills
Must be responsible, self-motivated and outgoing
Strong organizational skills and effective time management with territory calls and visits
Must have valid United States driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Existing multi-state account relationships desired
Must reside in one of the Central States listed; preferably TX
