Perform wireless network testing to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards.•Test and validate wireless access points (APs) and router configurations.•Evaluate wireless security protocols, including encryption and authentication methods such as WPA, WPA2, WPA3, and protocols such as WPA-PSK, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST, PEAP/MS-CHAPv2.•Troubleshoot wireless network issues and propose solutions to improve system performance.•Work with network hardware and software to configure and optimize wireless routers and access points.•Implement and test network encryption techniques to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.•Collaborate with network architects and engineers to validate system functionality, performance, and security.•Perform tests on network security, ensuring wireless systems adhere to the highest security standards.•Conduct performance analysis on wireless networks and provide recommendations for improvements.•Stay up to date with emerging wireless technologies, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:•Proven experience in wireless network testing and familiar with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11 family).•In-depth knowledge of network security protocols such as WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST, PEAP/MS-CHAPv2.•Familiarity with wireless encryption and authentication modes.•Strong understanding of network configurations for access points and wireless routers.•Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.•Experience with network testing tools and frameworks.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:•Certification in wireless networking (e.g., CWNA, CWSP, CCNA Wireless).•Hands-on experience with enterprise-level wireless network deployments.•Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
