# of Beds 15Nurse:Patient Ratios ICU: 1:1:2, PCU 1:3Common diagnoses/Types of patients varies- adults and geriatrics. CABG, carotids, VATs, anything cardiovascular, STEMIs, sepsis and pressors, Covid, pneumonia, general surgical- sepsis, traumas, ventrics, cranis, bolts, DKA, OD, ETOH withdrawal, IABP, Impella, prismaflex, ventilators, arctic sun, ECMOIs there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge goes to codes, RRT, normally no assignment, maybe takes 1 patient if needed.Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? noneHospitalist &/or Intensivist in house 24/7? In the ICU 24/7? Intensivist MD In house 24/7 MDRT in ICU 24/7? 1 assigned to ICURT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? Nasal cannula to vents, RN to trouble shoot equipmentAre there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? RNs required to read and interpret, no monitor techs, central monitor station, RN to read stripsAdditional Details
ICU PCU combined, ICU RN to take PCU patients frequentlyRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
