Location: Hatchery, Timpson, TX
Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Candidates with agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.Starting Wage: $16.50
Plus, additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from apx. 5:00am to 3:00pm Includes Holidays and Weekends as needed.
Work Schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing hatchery areas including the egg room and clean/dirty rooms, painting hatchery. Other duties may be assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wash chick dollies and lids; clean sanitize hatcher halls and setter tops; clean egg room and halls; clean setters and dirty rooms; wash egg buggies; operate tray wash to clean chick boxes (60%)Other duties may be assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager. These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: paper chick boxes; paint; put up freight; set up machines; prep hatcher room for embrex; pull eggs to be embrexed; maintaining a clean and organized work area. Put up supplies/freight, Monitor Machines (temps) and fill in on Embrex crew when needed.(40%)Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
The jobsite is a bio secure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.Physical Demands and Work Environment
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly push or pull 500 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. While performing the duties if this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift on a concrete floor; walk; sit' and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend over; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth per caption; and the ability to adjust focus.Tools and Equipment:Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles and/or glasses, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, earmuffs and/or ear plugs, and rubber boots are required when handling chemicals. Chemicals Commonly Used: Formaldehyde is in use at the facility. Also used are disinfectants, sanitizing solutions, lubricants, and paint.Safety: Team member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, LOTO and Personal Protective Equipment. Team member is expected to identify, address, and mitigate safety related risks.Mask policy will be in accordance with any local, state, or federal requirements but will be provided to any Team Member wishing to wear a mask.
