Position Summary:The primary role of the Finance Manager, Business Unit Control (BUC), is to provide financial partnership to the Marketing and Other General Expense (MOGE) and Globe ISIT functions. This includes managing cost center budgets, conducting variance analysis of actual expenses against budget/forecast, and developing monthly forecasts and the annual plan.The preferred candidate will be within a commutable distance to a Nestle Health Science location in Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach, FL, or generally located in the NY metro area.Responsibilities:Manages Annual Cost Center Budgeting process, reporting requirements/submissions with cost center owners for NHSc commercial,consolidates the submissions and performs analytics to ensure integrity of data, andliaises with cost center owners and various stakeholders to understand key drivers/inhibitors of performanceAccountable for tracking actual vs. budget expenses for the responsible department heads in NHSc commercial and provides variance analysis, commentary, and solicits future spending projection for inclusion in forecastsPrimary contact for all interactions with Nestle USA (NUSA) Costing Center of Competence (CCC) regarding OCM (SAP allocation) processEnsures that SOCM allocations are properly reflected in the P&L and reconciledAssists in issue resolution related to the allocation processSubject matter expert for allocations to/from NUSA /Nestle Business Center (NBS) and other businessesCreates and distributes timely and accurate monthly reports and scorecardsWorks with the Global Finance team regarding cost centers that are cross chargedPresents summary of actuals versus Dynamic Forecast to the executive teamMonitors and records accruals to ensure the P&L properly reflects expenses that have been incurred or should be accruedContinuously improves and re-evaluates accounting and reporting activities to streamline and improve controls and processesProvides insight to management during monthly P&L and balance sheet meetings on main drivers of account fluctuationsPrepares journal entries to clear reconciling items that need to be reclassed or written-offLeverages Oracle FIT tool to consolidate and submit monthly Dynamic Forecast in accordance with the financial calendarManages 1 direct reportSpecial projects and ad-hoc requestsRequirements:Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or accountingMBA a plus!5+ years' experience in planning and reportingPeople leader experiencePrevious experience in Consumer Products and Manufacturing Environment a plusAdvanced knowledge of Excel and other analytical toolsSAP or other ERP system experienceSkills:Excellent analytical skillsAbility to communicate and influence across different levels within the organizationThe approximate pay range for this position is $104,000- $136,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
