Provide program support in the form of communication coordination to the Division of Operations in the Office of the Director around multiple research and development programs.Assist in leading program oversight of communication process for projects with attention on managing data workflow.Manage and improve coordination of each step of the communication process across web, email, and social media channels.Manage coordination of clearing external-facing presentation and manuscript materials through their respective process pathways.Analyze and evaluate programs, plans, and metrics across communication channels that align with the BARDA mission and program goals.Identify program risks and problems and assist with communication mitigation strategies.Assist with the design, drafting and coordination of communication efforts with BARDA programs.Identify opportunities to assist in the editing of research projects, and getting research communication products cleared.Assist in development, editing and clearing of various documents, briefings, and communication materials.Qualifications
At least a master’s degree in a scientific field (biology, chemistry, engineering, etc.).Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial. Communication experience beneficial.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.Demonstrated experience in processing and managing data flows.Experience working with research and development projects and teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with unstructured verbal interactions, writing, blogging, briefings, and meeting moderation.Demonstrated experience providing advice and communication to senior government officials.Demonstrated experience in working on teams with diverse backgrounds.Demonstrated experience in coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.This role requires up to 3 days a week in Washington, DC.BryceTech offers a full range of benefits, including competitive salary, a comprehensive health plan including dental and vision coverage, company-paid life & disability insurance policies, 401(k) plan with company match, and an educational reimbursement program.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
