Director, Program Optimization
leads a team of internal business advisors who work closely with program and cross-functional teams to assess program needs, improve program performance and develop operational and financial models to support the creation of new programs as well as the scaling of existing ones. Drives a culture of continuous improvement and sound decision-making through business analytics.Responsibilities
Sets vision and direction for the Program Optimization function’s work agenda, drawing on trends and best practices in social and business innovation. Oversees an internal business advisory group that partners with program teams to identify program needs, assess operations and provide recommendations to improve program efficiency.Drives and manages the use of business analytics in assessing the organization’s programs and performs financial modeling and cost structure analysis to maximize program impact per dollar and ensure program scalability.Collaborates with internal subject matter experts to create strategic plans and operational models for new programs and social innovation initiatives to support the organization’s mission.Identifies and builds external relationships with partners and suppliers to identify best practices and emerging trends in social/business innovation, as well as opportunities for collaboration.Works with internal departments to ensure that data architecture is scalable, repeatable, and secure, and can serve multiple types of users within the business.Communicates analysis and recommendations to executive leadership and other key stakeholders, as needed.Builds and coaches a high-performing team, providing oversight of work products, performance management, recognition, and compensation.Qualifications
Over 8 years of experience in consulting, operations, and/or financeBachelor’s degree in business, public policy, economics, finance, or a related fieldStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial planning and using business analytics to address organizational challengesProven ability to innovate business models and create new approaches to delivering social impact solutionsDemonstrated people management experience, including conducting performance reviews and supporting team developmentExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of presenting effectively to executive audiencesAdditional Requirements
