Job DescriptionAs a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Visa’s Open Banking Team and Value Added Services (VAS) business. This role requires interpersonal skills to cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to drive thought leadership, and successfully enact all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. This role presents results and provides insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions.
Essential Functions
Supports the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses including budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support.
Understand individual product offerings, market dynamics, and underlying drivers.
Work with sales teams to understand pipelines for all Products: evaluate penetration, pricing, and opportunities for growth.
Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.
Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
Learn and understand Visa’s financial reporting systems: run data queries, build financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives.
Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
4-6 years work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Superior analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze financial data.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Microsoft Excel) and building presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) are required.
Highly detail oriented with the ability to convert complex analysis into insightful business commentary.
Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively with management to influence outcomes.
Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently using strong business judgement.
Team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with business leaders in global and regional function.
Ability to make decisions with limited guidance, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization.
Strong foundation in Finance and working knowledge of GAAP and/or Visa Accounting Policy preferred.
Prior experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting or Corporate Strategy preferred.
Ability to improve processes, systems, and plans that balance short-term and long-term growth.
Strategic and analytical thinker with capability to work through complex problems, processes, and data sets.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting, business performance analytics, and working with multi-functional teams.
Experience with complex financial systems (e.g. Hyperion, GARP, GEAR) is beneficial but not required.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
